So, I have done it. I took a new job in a new city and moved three hours away from everyone and everything I love. I landed a full-time position at a publishing company I've been freelancing for since December, and now I'm Senior Staff Writer for a wedding magazine and an arts & entertainment magazine. My Wonderful Fiancé and our big fluffy cat, Tibbot, will be joining me soon. Right now, it's just me and our new little tuxedo kitten, Oscar. (The kitties haven't met yet; that's going down this weekend. We'll see how that goes.)
Anyway, to keep myself a little occupied, I decided to try the 30 Day Photo Challenge that was posted on
My Cheap Version of Therapy. This is partly out of regret that I'm not participating in
NaNoWriMo (which I am so doing next year).
I would love to do the 30 Days of Truth as well, because some of the topics (Day 24 → Make a playlist to someone, and explain why you chose all the songs.) got me really excited. However, there are just some things (Day 08 → Someone who made your life hell, or treated you like shit.) I couldn't be completely honest about because I wouldn't want to hurt someone's feelings if they stumbled upon the post. Perhaps another day...
Now, I don't know that I'll
remember be able to post every single day, but I want to complete the 30 posts regardless.
